After reading this article, I can tell that no matter how old you are, you may or may not still be able to recognize a sponsered article. It is very important that we are able to, because if not, we could be putting false information in projects, or reports, or anything of that sort. But now , some schools are teaching kids how recognize a factual source from a false source. Parents are also being encouraged to teack kids similar skills.

After reading this article, I learned that middle schoolers, and all the way up to college, can't tell when an article is sponsered or not. Some students have certain ways they try to tell if it is a genuine article or not, such as how much detail is included, and the sizes of attached pictures. It is obvious that this is a problem, so Google and Mark Zuckerberg have said something about it. Google says they will ban fake news sites. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg says the company is systems to try and cut down the spread of false information.
On Buzzfeed.com, there is a story about the new Apple items. Honestly,I think some of them are just plain stupid. For starters, the new earphones. All Apple users really want from earphones, is what i think everyone wants from earphones; for them to never be tangled. Yeah, the new wireless earphones can't be tangled, but now they bring up another problem; How easy those earphones will be to lose/misplace. And, another thing, they look so dumb, like, what person do you know that will look good with some weird earphones sticking out of their ears.
Next thing is the (non-existent) headphone jack. WHO made up the idea to get rid of the headphone jack, and have o put an extender. What made them think that people want to buy another piece, just so they can put their REGULAR, NON WIRELESS, earphones into their phone. We don't want to spend money on something else, just so we can listen to music. Honestly, the only thing us Apple users really want, is group facetime. But obviously, Apple doesn't care what we want. TAKE A HINT APPLE!! On the New York Times website, there is an article about the chips that are on credit cards. I think these are confusing, but I see what they are capable of positive wise. The chips do have a lot of pros, but I think the main problem is that people are confused about when, and when not to use them. If these chips are going to be around, then all stores should be able to accept them, so that it is less confusing to people. Also, the safety of these chips are probably not that much better than plain old credit cards. If you bypass the pin and swipe, it is the same as the old cards and thieves can go on spending sprees. Honestly, regular credit cards are safer, I feel. i just hope they make some changes to these chips so that they will more helpful and appreciated, and less frustrating.
